TabTrade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the part that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
