TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that range is solid.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That will round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Now, the detail that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
